Subject: Humane genetics and the language of DNA

House Science is the humane genetics company. We are building a cloud platform that makes advanced genomic interpretation accessible, educational, and responsible — for the people whose health it is actually meant to serve.

Words matter in genetics. The names and labels we give genes determine how biology is studied, modeled, funded, and explained. When those labels are incomplete, biased, or treated as fixed truth, they do not merely describe science — they steer it. Quietly. Systematically. Over generations.

We reject that. Our approach to gene annotation treats biological meaning as contextual, evolutionary, and permanently open to revision. Not because we are uncertain — but because the genome is not a finished document. It is a living record, and we intend to read it honestly.

Better explanations produce better science. Better science should produce better care. That chain of accountability is the standard we hold ourselves to.

Our team spans evolutionary genetics, applied genomics, bioinformatics, early capital, and design. Genomics has been locked inside technical pipelines for too long. We are building the tools to change that — and the language to go with them.
